Performs para-professional educational work in planning, preparing, and implementing a WELA Program for young children and their families. Assists the lead teacher in a cooperative and professional manner. Drives school bus or assists as bus monitor daily.

Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development or related field preferred or actively working on Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development or related field

Certificate of Mastery (COM) certification required within twelve (12) months
- High School Diploma or GED required

Must have a food-handlers permit within two weeks

Must have initial TB screening

Must have initial physical (and yearly)

Must have a current CPR and First Aid certificate (pediatric/to Adult)

Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Oklahoma School Bus Driver's license (OSBDL) preferred

Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds

Must be able to stoop, bend and lift on a daily basis

Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics

Requires a high level of problem- solving skills

Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions

Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs

Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
