This legacy restaurant is looking for an outstanding individual to once again break through glass ceilings and take us to the next level. We are looking for a long-term, highly motivated, dedicated individual who is passionate about food, wine and providing amazing guest experiences for the position of General Manager.
Our ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills and a passion for furthering their hospitality career. Our capacity is 150 seats Ala carte with a 90 seat ballroom. We are closed all major holidays including...New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The General Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring guest satisfaction while providing leadership to the staff. Other general responsibilities include:
Coordinate the entire restaurant operation
Lead by example and maintain upbeat positive work environment
Deliver superior services and ensure absolute guest satisfaction
Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible within budget
Scheduling of FOH staff
Booking and planning of any event or group function as well as catering.
Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and ensure proper par levels are maintained.
Control costs and minimize waste
Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
Estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions of purchases, supplies, equipment and food and beverage
Oversees cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities and ensures that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
Requirements
5 Years General Manager Experience in Fine Dining
Proven working experience as restaurant manager
Demonstrated experience in customer service management
Extensive food and wine knowledge
Proficiency in English
Apple Computer literacy and familiarity with Aloha restaurant management software
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Acute financial management skills
Meshes well with ownership
Salary will be commensurate experience

General Manager
Duties:
- Oversee all operations and activities of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the restaurant
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Coordinate and oversee weddings, banquets, business meetings meetings and catering
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Experience in kitchen management and food production is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
