The mission of The University of Texas M. D. The primary purpose for this part-time Program Manager role is to assist with TRIUMPH postdoctoral fellowship recruitment efforts.
Key Job Functions:
Recruitment Activities
- Engage in targeted recruitment efforts to identify talented graduate students and early-stage postdocs for the fellowship.
- Identify new and innovative ways to help recruit trainees.
- Assist in the collection and preparation of applications to be presented before our mentoring faculty following each quarterly deadline.
- Schedule and participate in recruitment interviews.
- Help to maintain the program website.
Travel
- Attends AACR and, if appropriate, other national conferences to recruit for the TRIUMPH program.
Miscellaneous
- Assist with current trainee and alumni tracking.
- In his/her absence, acts as a backup to the Program Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree.
Experience
Required: Five years related experience to include three years program management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, three years of required experience.
