Job Summary
We are searching for a Cabinet Maker who will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of quality custom products. This well-organized, detail oriented individual must be able to work with minimal supervision, read blueprints and cut lists as well as set up and operate industrial woodworking machinery. This is a position that requires attention to detail, problem solving, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Location
Must be able to commute to North Canton, OH.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom and casework cabinetry.
- Assemble project from start to finish.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and cut lists.
- Set up and operate industrial woodworking machinery.
- Build and laminate countertops.
- Stick, route and file all types of plastic laminates and veneers.
- Comprehend and follow all prescribed safety policies, rules, practices and procedures.
- Ensure quality of all products produced.
Qualifications/Experience
- 2+ years of custom woodworking or assembly experience preferred.
- Must have a good understanding of construction methods and blueprint reading.
- Ability to effectively use measurement tools such as: tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and shop drawings.
- Ability to complete an entire job and check to see if all components are complete.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
