Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Title Clerk. As a Title Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with the processing of vehicle titles in multiple municipalities and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. This is a vital role in our organization, as it directly impacts the success of the company.
Duties:
- Conduct research and gather information related to vehicle titles
- Review and verify legal documents, such as vehicle titles, odometers, poas and liens
- Prepare title commitments and policies
- Work with dealer groups, finance companies, auctions to process work
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding title information
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- At least 2 years in the automotive industry, preference on back office operations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and follow up
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving abilities
