Responsibilities:
Apply and assist patients with home medical equipment products. Responsible for greeting customers and answering phone calls in a friendly, professional manner. Often the first contact person for the Home Medical Equipment customers and plays a vital role in projecting the company's image and mission. These include but are not limited to business, operations, clerical, patient billing and accounting functions, medical records management, reception, and patient scheduling.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent GED.
Three years experience in a hospital business office or equivalent such as a physician's or insurance office. Two years Home Medical Equipment Billing experience preferred. Computer, communication, office equipment, and transcription skills required. Medical accounts billing experience desirable.
