ACME Distribution Center, a division of the Albertsons Companies, is currently searching for a Sanitation Supervisor to join our team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Monitor sanitation practices and procedures to enhance productivity, maintain excellent sanitation conditions and reduce costs.
- Must use and enforce all ACME safety standards and requirements including personal protective equipment needed to perform job duties. Must comply and maintain Loss Control Management Evaluation program (LCME) and support Sanitation programs to accomplish a score of 900 or better with Food Industry Sanitation Audit (FISA).
- Monitor and encourage Management and Supervision support of the sanitation program and Good House Keeping practices.
- Facilitate, communicate, and train management and supervision on logistics responsibilities to assist in maintaining daily sanitation conditions and associate best practices
- Must be capable of working effectively within a Union environment, understand and follow all contractual language. Initiate corrective action when necessary to achieve the goals of the sanitation program.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Manufacturing, Distribution, and or industrial sanitation experience preferred
Skills and Experiences:
Sanitation certified or equivalent experience. Understand the Process/Procedures for local and governmental audits. Strong communicator and team builder. Experience in Facility Sanitation and able to train others. Ability to learn the latest information quickly. Must have good supervisory skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to a lead a group of associates. Proactive problem identification and strategic resolution is essential to the success of this position.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: <5%
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
- This position requires considerable amounts of walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs. Withstand long periods kneeling, squatting, or bending. Must withstand rotating shifts, work weekends, hot and refrigerated environments, and exposure to high levels of noise.
