Social Media Intern
We are looking for an organized and highly motivated social media intern.
At TradePMR, our mission is to provide the absolute highest level of support and service to help independent financial advisors reach their goals.
This opportunity will support the overall mission and give the candidate the chance to have hands on social media experience, across multiple platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter), in a marketing department. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced settings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor social media trends and best practices.
- Research social media consumption habits to develop target personas.
- Suggest and implement improvements for brand community growth, engagement, and adoption (based on our target audiences).
- Participate in brainstorms, and implementation, for social media content (Ex: videos), campaign takeovers (ex: banners), social media tactics (ex: organic campaigns), and platform improvements (ex: playlists, visual changes, and organization of content on the platforms).
- Ideate and draft engaging social media posts from team brainstorms and outlines.
- Assist in development of a social media calendar, and regularly schedule and publish posts.
- Support the development of a community management social media guidebook.
- Support social media post and community performance tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
- Become HubSpot certified in social media marketing.
- Comply with data privacy and security regulations.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in an undergrad or graduate program with a focus on digital marketing, social media, or related coursework.
- Available 20 hours a week
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Familiarity with social media platforms. Experience managing social media channels preferred.
- Certification(s) in marketing preferred.
