We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on individual to join our team as a Hands-On Corporate Housing Coordinator. In this diverse role, your commitment to a hands-on approach will be crucial in providing exceptional support to both the guest experience and assistant coordinators. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the overall guest experience, while also providing valuable administrative support to our assistant housing coordinators. Your dedication and hands-on approach will be essential in fulfilling the following responsibilities:
- Community Administration: You would coordinate processes involving the community including, lease contract management, occupancy forms, maintenance work order management, coordinating notifications for tenants ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our guests and maintain relationships with the community.
- Coordinate Assistant Coordinator: You will provide valuable support to our assistant coordinators, ensuring the smooth operation of our property management activities and addressing any tasks that may arise. This will include
- Follow up on the walkthrough inspection report issues, ensure they are resolved and inform finance for charging guests where relevant
- Assisting with minor maintenance tasks such as air filter replacement, light bulb changes, batteries in remotes, smoke detectors, doors, etc
- Support in carrying out check-ins to check-outs and address any issues that may arise during the guests stay
- Vendor Management: You will be actively involved in vendor management, negotiating contracts, reviewing estimates, defining job scopes, and agreeing on pricing to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting: Your role will involve managing documentation and reporting processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing timely reports to support decision-making.
- Porter Work: As a Hands-On Support Specialist, you will troubleshoot work orders for DFW Communities, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate vendors.
- Lockout Assistance: In the event of a guest lockout, you will promptly respond by checking for available keys. If no keys are available or the lock is not operating, you may need to coordinate with locksmiths to resolve the issue efficiently.
- Purchasing Supplies: Purchasing supplies and obtaining replacement items for units, ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements for the Position:
- Experience using Yardi or similar Resident Portals and managing bookings platforms.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and support a team.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience within a property management role, including property manager or regional directors.
- Reliable Transportation: This role will require your assistance at multiple communities within DFW. A transport allowance will be provided based on documented mileage.
- Self-Accountability: You will often work independently, implementing the tools and knowledge you have acquired through hands-on experience in the field.
- Flexible Schedule: This is not a typical 9-5 position. Your schedule will vary depending on the needs of the company and guests. You must be available for emergencies, maintenance issues, late check-ins, and other situations that require your hands-on support.
- Customer Service Oriented: The primary objective of this role is to ensure guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintaining high standards of customer service. Reviews play a vital role in this industry, and we set the bar high.
