nization, coordinating logistics for Board of Trustee meetings and student events as needed, providing administrative support for the Financial Manager and faculty as needed, maintaining the donor database and running the yearly fundraising campaign, and other basic administrative support of CSS operations such as filing, updating of web site, and information support for student files. The Administrative Assistant also responds to inquiries, and this includes maintaining regular office hours.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, redirecting them as needed.
- Event planning such as the twice yearly Board meetings and dinner as well as student lunches, events, etc.
- Maintain office filing and storage systems.
- Maintain a comprehensive donor database; coordinate appeal letter mailings and programs
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
-Some evenings and weekends are required occasionally when running lectures, events, or board meetings.
Qualifications:
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Wordpress.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Previous experience in an administrative role or related field is preferred.
- Ability to coordinate projects from start to finish effectively.
- Clerical skills such as typing, filing, and data entry are essential.
- Experience in event planning or coordination.
-Experience in an academic setting is a plus.
