**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled IT / Audio/Vide / Automation Field Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining audio-visual, automation and network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
**Duties:**
- Install and configure audio-visual and automation equipment such as projectors, sound systems, video screens, motorized window treatments and lighting control systems.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to all supported systems
- Maintain and repair supoorted equipment as needed
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements
- Perform cabling and wiring tasks for all systems
- Provide field service support for on-site installations and maintenance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and computer hardware for equipment setup and troubleshooting
**Qualifications/Preferred Requirements:**
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation and maintenance
- Ability to read schematics for audio-visual systems
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting for audio-visual applications
- Experience in maintaining and repairing audio-visual equipment
- Strong communication skills to telecommunicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of cabling techniques for audio-visual setups
- Field service experience in the IT, Audio/Video and/or Automation industry
- Equipment Rack building (Virtual / Physical) and equipment preparations
- Proficient in using hand tools, voltmeters, and computer hardware
Service Technician Requirements:
M-F, 9am-5:30pm
Clean professional appearance
Clean NYS Drivers License
1+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Good problem-solving skills.
Helpful, but not required:
Knowledge of Automation Systems such as Control4 or Savant
Alarm installation / programming experience
Fluency in Spanish
