- Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Implementing Educational Programming
- Includes teaching assigned curriculum and following the Ohio State Extended Standards
- Checking compliance on all documentation
- Running IEP goals and collecting data
- Training aides how to run goals and objectives
- Completing progress reports quarterly (if in training, submit data to supervisor and work with supervisor to complete reports)
- Complete IEP documents, send IEP documents to supervisor 2 weeks before they are due. (if in training, collaborate with supervisor to come up with appropriate goals)
- Following behavior plans set out by the Director of School and Behavioral Services
- Participate in RESA if required.
- Attend Parent-Teacher conferences and any other after school events.
- Research and attend professional development opportunities.
- Meet with aides and document conversations related to classroom issues
Teachers MUST hold a valid Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive teaching license.
