Job Title: NSLP/SFSP Contract Coordinator
Reports To: NSLP Director

Availability: Monday-Friday (normal work hours)
Travel Requirements: 4-6 weekly trips per year
Position Overview: The Contract Coordinator will facilitate the Administrative Review process for one or several different state agency contracts. The duties for this position include communicating directly with state agency representatives, creating the annual review schedule to ensure all assigned work is completed within the established time frame, providing support to the state, sponsors, and staff as needed, managing the specific review process and overall contract budgets, developing resources and tools, and completing contract administration tasks as necessary. Travel is a requirement of this position and candidates should be willing to travel to different locations across the U.S.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Throughout the contract duration, the coordinator monitors contract compliance, deadlines, and performance metrics. This involves keeping track of deliverables, budgets, milestones, and any changes to the agreement.
- The contract coordinator may generate reports on contract status, performance, and key metrics to provide insights to management or other stakeholders.
- Work directly with state agency partners to fulfill the needs of each specific contract,
- which may include regularly scheduled calls, training, and report creation.
- Examine and evaluate program documentation for USDA child nutrition programs to ensure compliance with all required state and federal rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the completion of all required forms and tools related to Administrative Reviews with the USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
- Provide friendly and effective customer service to assist sponsors throughout the review process to ensure timely completion of all areas of review.
- Provide technical assistance to sponsors to aid in their understanding of program requirements and to implement effective corrective action.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent work product across all areas of review.
- Utilize the company's internal web application to maintain call logs, review specifics, and communicate with sponsors.
- Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned, when appropriate.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations pertaining to child nutrition programs specifically the Summer Food Service Program, School Breakfast, and National School Lunch Programs.
- Ability to identify a reimbursable meal under Offer vs. Serve.
- Ability to recognize program deficiencies and irregularities and recommend methods of correction.
- Minimum 3-5 years of prior school foodservice or NSLP compliance-related experience.

- Fingerprint clearance (as applicable) will be required.
- A criminal background check will be required.
- Out-of-state travel is required. This will be based on the needs of the contracts.
- Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
