The Maintenance Technician assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Facilities Team, your Supervisor will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.
Maintenance Technicians contribute to the Restaurants commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork and must be the kind of person who appreciates high standards of excellence. The Maintenance Technician will maintain a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in the restaurants. The Maintenance Technician will also perform some minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and kitchen equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Repair of restaurant equipment – ovens, gas lines, etc
- Light carpentry work – Drywall, painting (after hours), tile repair, lighting
- Clean HVAC/Exhaust and Distribution grilles
- Minor Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical repairs
- PM cleaning on restaurant equipment
- Pressure Washing (after hours)
- Maintaining outside grounds and patios
- Reporting maintenance issues beyond Technicians scope
- Occasional Landscape Maintenance Projects
Knowledge & Skills
- Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing
- Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction
- Ability to maintain a company provided vehicle
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Good customer skills
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Certified HVAC/EPA required
- 10-year building maintenance experience, required
- Must have basic hand tools
- On-call weekends required
- Travel within region required
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid Texas Drivers License
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amount of weight (minimum of 20 lbs.)
- Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
