Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team remotely. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of our licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide therapy services to a pediatric population. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Conduct therapy sessions remotely using telepractice technology.
- Provide support and assistance to children during therapy sessions to facilitate progress towards their communication goals.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on therapy progress and recommendations for home practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using telepractice technology preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
