Insight into the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the DAS Team in our school-based work as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. We are looking for qualified team members who can contribute to our goal of supporting students and families in achieving the most optimal outcomes.
One of the best parts of working at DAS is our flexible scheduling! We have opportunities for both full and part time LSSPs and have the summers off, working only 190 days a year with the school calendar. We know that LSSPs in general have given their all and more, especially in the last few years. The awesome work you will do:
· Exhibit positive and collaborative relationships with parents, administrators, and teachers
· Consistent record of utilizing emotional/behavioral-related evaluations best practices
· Collaborate with Diagnosticians and other service providers
· Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local procedures and regulations regarding the evaluation and ARD process
· Consistent record of implementing best practices in emotional/behavioral-related issues
Requirements:
· Must possess a master’s degree (MA or M.S.) from an accredited institution
· Must possess be have a valid license in school psychology.
· 2-3 years of experience in a school setting a plus, but not required
· Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, education of special education students, human development
· Excellent organization and planning skills
· Demonstrated passion for students, especially those with disabilities
· Effective interpersonal skills
· Must possess a valid Driver’s License
Compensation:
· Hourly pay between $50-$55/hour based on experience.
