Our casual dining and fast casual restaurant is looking to hire a Cook/Dishwasher. The ideal candidate has restaurant industry experience, and is able to pull his or her own weight, show up on time, work independently, and work well with a team. This is an entry-level position and the hours are flexible, but we are seeking team players with basic kitchen skills and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by taking and filling customer orders.
- Wash dishes and glassware.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment, including the dishwasher, food processor, and can opener.
- Clean kitchen and dining room areas, washing dishes and cleaning floors.
- Ensure food safety by following safe food-handling procedures, including the washing and sanitizing of dishes.
