Job Title: Customer Service Representative/Accounting Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while also assisting with basic accounting tasks. Accuracy and attention to detail are of utmost importance in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Process customer orders, payments, and returns accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciling invoices, and processing payments.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service and accounting practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the department.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service or accounting roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
