The Baking Assistant job is a support position for the Bakers and kitchen staff. Some job duties include: Making flour mixes, making icing, scoop cookie dough, shape scones, weigh out ingredients, cleaning, make pie dough, etc.
This position doesn't require baking experience, just a basic understanding of kitchen/food safety and basic knowledge of how to use mixers and measuring tools (scales, measuring spoons/cups).
The Baking Assistant Position is a seasonal position with the opportunity for permanent work if desired.
Full-Time Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 6am-2pm (Benefit Package Included)
Part-Time Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 6am-2pm
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Stand for 8+ hours per shift
- Basic kitchen/food safety knowledge
- Basic knowledge of kitchen tools
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instruction
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
