Associate Grants Manager
In this role, you will support workforce programs to ensure smooth operations, assisting the Grants Officer in the assessment of grant or other program applicants and helping to verify the impact of funded programs.
Every day, you will provide administrative support, help to schedule calls, and keep the team's timelines on track, utilizing your excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software.
To thrive in this role, you must have strong communication skills, comfort learning new technologies, familiarity with workforce development or academic programs, and a keen eye for detail.

The Associate Grants Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the success of Natcast's workforce programs by ensuring smooth operations, assisting with the assessment of applicants, and verifying the impact of funded programs. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of a skilled workforce in the semiconductor industry and support the overall mission of strengthening the domestic semiconductor ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Support Grants Officer and Sr. Manager of Workforce Programs through managing paperwork and monitoring program follow-up and impact
Maintain and organize the workforce award process and team schedule through scheduling meetings, configuring Openwater grant system applications, preparing review dockets and instructions for reviewers, issuing reminders to critical stakeholders, taking notes at meetings, making travel arrangements, etc.
Assist with the development of collateral for workforce programs
Maintain the latest relevant details on the workforce programs website
Assist with record keeping related to awardee or partner performance
Maintain and organize files and records of importance to the Grants Officer and Sr. Manager of Workforce Programs
Assist with prioritization of incoming questions from applicants, partners, and stakeholders and ensure timely responses and follow-up actions
Confirm eligibility of applying program and score applicants based on a detailed set of criteria
Required Skills and Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative / support role, preferably in the Grants / non-profit space
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Comfort learning new technologies
Familiarity with workforce development or academic programs
Attention to detail
Experience in Grants office operations is a plus
