We are looking for a proactive Operations Support Coordinator to oversee administrative and operational functions at our Houston site, providing hands-on, professional, customer-focused support services.
THE VALUE YOU DELIVER:
- Provide superior customer and administrative support services to meet individual and internal customer/business needs efficiently, effectively, and with high quality.
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, mail, deliveries, and visitor traffic.
- Develop efficient operational procedures and continuously monitor and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Execute office purchasing activities in accordance with Oceanit's policies.
- Plan and coordinate office space planning, renovations, staff assignments, and relocations, and liaise with building management for repairs and maintenance.
- Act as a liaison between Oceanit and offsite storage locations as required.
- Oversee office supplies inventory purchases and maintenance.
- Coordinate logistics and provide analysis for Oceanit's commercialization efforts related to supply chain activities.
- Manage inventory comprehensively, including equipment, parts, components, and chemicals, ensuring proper asset tagging and tracking.
- Participate in company-sponsored events, assisting with planning, organizing, and execution.
- Manage office-related security, fire safety, and emergency response activities, ensuring 24x7 readiness.
- Support petty cash, check requests, purchase and invoice reconciliation, and travel reimbursement reconciliation.
- Assist HR with new hire and open enrollment processes, support Accounting with time sheets and audit activities, and assist the Marketing department as needed.
THE EXPERTISE WE ARE SEEKING:
- Minimum 2 years of Office Management experience.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history and willingness to undergo a background check as per local laws.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
