We are currently accepting resumes for a Maintenance Technician for our Fountain Inn, SC, location to be part of our dynamic Operations team. The essential duties for this position include:
· Perform preventative, routine, and corrective maintenance services on the company’s mechanical equipment and facility systems.
· Ensure all machines and facility systems function properly through troubleshooting and preventative maintenance service.
· Diagnose and repair mechanical and system malfunctions of production and facility equipment in a timely manner to minimize operational downtime and outages.
· Perform general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs to facility equipment and systems.
· Respond to work orders in an efficient and timely manner.
· Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper operation and safety compliance of mechanical and facility systems.
· Make service and repair recommendations in accordance with company’s Preventative Maintenance Program.
· Assist Maintenance Manager and other departments on special projects.
· Perform general cleaning tasks and assist with the upkeep of the facility.
Technical requirements for this position include:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Associate’s degree or maintenance/mechanical certification preferred.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a maintenance position in a industrial manufacturing facility.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
· Possess in-depth understanding of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair; welding experience also preferred.
· Knowledge of proper use of hand and power tools.
· Able to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
· Able to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
· Possess a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements to be covered under a business and individual auto insurance policy.

The standard work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3PM . This position is also on-call for after-hour and weekend maintenance emergencies with on-call, call-in, and overtime premium pay available. Occasional local travel in a company vehicle is required.
A Maintenance Technician works in all areas of the facility and requires walking and standing for extended periods of time. Other physical demands of this position include climbing ladders, entering confined spaces, kneeling, lifting 50 lbs. unassisted, and pushing/pulling. Frequent use of power and hand tools is essential for this position.
