The Director of Life Enrichment will provide supervisory leadership, support, and direction to staff promoting resident self-fulfillment through psychosocial, spiritual, physical, and emotional involvement. They will be responsive to individual needs and preferences while working collaboratively with residents, families, community, staff, and others to promote individualized living. Other responsibilities include assisting in the implementation and development of innovative programming within the Walker Methodist community and maintain a social model of care while ensuring that the mission, vision and values of Walker Methodist are fulfilled.

Position Requirements and Specifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management, Gerontology, Therapeutic Recreation,
Social Work, or related field preferred. Equivalent health care experience will be considered. Current
Minnesota Class C driver’s license in good standing.
Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with seniors or community services
with a focus on integrative services.
Preferred Experience: Prior experience working with residents with memory loss preferred.

Ability to complete Walker’s Resident Feeding program.
