The HR Generalist is responsible for:
- In collaboration with the HR Business Partner, develops interview questions, assists with gathering interview and tracks workplace investigations.
- Gathers and analyzes data to assist with identifying trends, needs, and establishing business processes to support the organization’s business objectives.
- Coordinates various projects, independently or in collaboration with others, such employee onboarding and process improvements.
- Responds to general HR questions regarding policies and protocols.
- Reviews and tracks corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
- Responds to unemployment claims and participates in related unemployment hearings; and conducts quarterly reconciliation.
- Conducts Exit Survey interviews and analyzes and reports on survey data.
- Writes job descriptions and develops relevant competencies for accreditation compliance.
- Delivers policy training to provide process refreshers.
- Assists managers with policy compliance. .
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
- Minimum of three years, progressive more HR-related experience.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to gather, exchange and interpret information with both internal and external customers; and to participate on workgroups or committees.
- Analytical abilities necessary to collect and report on quantitative and qualitative data using multiple resources.
- Decision making and problem-solving abilities necessary to identify and assist in the resolution of employee-related issues.
- Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel to record and present data.
- Demonstrated flexibility and multitasking skills to work in a business environment managing numerous priorities and excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Results-oriented, highly motivated, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to work independently and function successfully in a team environment
