Diamond Career Institute is a small business in Richardson, TX. We are a proprietary school approved to provide/conduct both a Phlebotomy Program and a Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP). Diamond Career Institute is also authorized by the American Heart Association to provide CPR/Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses.

Duties
- Develop and implement clinical instruction for nurse aide students in various healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, assisted livings, and long-term care facilities.
- Create and evaluate care plans for patients in collaboration with nurse aide students.
- Supervise and provide guidance to nurse aide students during clinical rotations.
- Teach and demonstrate basic nursing skills and patient care every WEDNESDAY and do Clinical over weekends.
- Educate nurse aide students on best practices in patient care, including infection control, safety protocols, and ethical considerations.
- Collaborate with program faculty to develop curriculum and ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, feedback, and clinical evaluations.
Qualifications
- RN or LPN/LVN in Nursing
- Current RN/ LPN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a long term care or acute care setting.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, and skilled nursing care.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise and mentor nursing students.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems.

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 24 per week
