Summerset Marine Construction is seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to play a pivotal role in our operations. Position Overview:
As a Shipper/Receiver you'll be at the heart of our logistics operations, coordinating shipments, receiving materials, and maintaining accurate records within our ERP system. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
- Receive incoming materials, perform quality inspections, and manage inventory levels.
- Safely operate material handling equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and other departments to facilitate material flow.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; logistics certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and forklift certification.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and adapt to changing priorities.

Working Conditions:
