The Production Scheduler acts as a liaison with operations, customer service, logistics, and other parts of the organization to ensure that the correct type and quantity of products are available to meet customer demands.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain and communicate unit outages, downtime, and other events to ensure on time shipments and inventory targets are met.
- Develop and maintain production and packaging schedules to meet demand requirements.
- Review and communicate the need for primary BOM components to maintain production schedules.
- Audit consignment/VMOI customer pipelines and inventory projections.
- Manage the order to cash process for assigned accounts.
- Parter with colleagues in sales to manage competing priorities and identify opportunities to build stronger customer relationships.
- Partner with colleagues in supply chain and logistics to ensure that shipments are delivered on time, using the most efficient modes of transportation.
- Manage customer complaints, while working to ensure resolution and eliminate future complaints.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree is required; preferred fields of study include business, logistics, supply chain, or a technical discipline.
- At least three years of experience as a production scheduler, production planner, logistics coordinator or similar role are required; experience in the chemical and/or petroleum industry is preferred.
- Experience sourcing and obtaining raw materials used in chemical manufacturing would be beneficial.
- APIS/ CPIM certification(s) are a plus. Advanced SAP skills are essential, as well as a solid command of the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
