Job Summary:
In this role, you will implement solutions in accordance with organizational needs, while investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with engineering and technical personnel. You will focus on supporting existing equipment and managing existing equipment as it nears the end of its lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Take part in the research and proof-of-concepts of new store system technologies. Present findings to senior technologists in the organization.

Support in-store installation activities.

Develop testing and support of equipment being recommended with minimal oversight from a senior engineer

Collaborate with fellow LCE developers as well as external resources located locally or off-shore to identify potential solutions.

Support QA in the development of test plans, test conditions, and expected test results.

Engineer, design, and test of all the store systems equipment currently being used and will be used in the future.

Research what equipment solutions other companies are using or what is out in the industry today.

Test and recommend items that fit most closely with our store system needs.

Forecast new items that are needed.

Assist POS installations as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree with computer classes or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of one (1) years’ experience as an Equipment Engineer working with PC’s, monitors, printers, tablets, scanners, servers, and biometric devices.

Experience in supporting the full engineering lifecycle.

Demonstrated ability to work with various levels of colleagues and public, from top management to new hires.

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.

QSR or Retail Technology experience preferred.

Some lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required.
