PRN / Part-Time CT Technologist
CT Technologist Responsibilities:
- Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Practice. Most common procedures will be cardiac CTA Coronary and Chest CT, etc.
- Using new PET / CT Omni equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
- Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
- Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.
- Administering contrast agents to patients with power injector to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
- Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.
- Operating electronic medical records software and PACS imaging systems
Requirements:
- Certified by an appropriate organization to perform full range of CT scans AART(CT), NMTCB(CT), etc.
- Licensed in Florida to perform CT studies
- Candidate must be experienced in CT Scanning.
- CPR and BLS certification.
- Start basic IV lines.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
