FIRST SHIFT
The Inspector is responsible for performing inspection in support of manufacturing operations. Inspector performs calibration of measuring equipment. Inspector assists the Quality Control Manager in maintaining all quality records; performs employee training; supplier qualifications, and material data records. The Inspector supports the Quality Control Manager in communicating safety procedures and continual improvement standards. The Inspector will conduct inspection of work in progress and finished machined metal part products in order to meet production standards.

Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school required
- Technical proficiency applying trigonometry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection required
- Experience with inspection tools (specifically, calipers and micrometers), blueprints, or related application of trigonometry and geometric tolerancing
- Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred

Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels, and occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time while frequently using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls to climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear. Employee must be able to see up close, use peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus. Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Will often be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
