Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) located in Lancaster, PA is hiring RNs for full-time positions on night (7p - 7:30a) shift (every 3rd Saturday and Sunday rotation).
6 Month Temp-to-Perm Position
- $70 per hour for Night Shift
Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is a newly opened (July, 2018) 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.
In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the new facility will also offer services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.

Registered Nurses (RNs) at Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital deliver quality nursing care to patients with varying psychiatric, behavioral and mental health diagnoses, ensuring their safety and continued care.
Registered Nurses (RN) are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:
- Assess patients through a systematic process of interacting with the patient, the patient’s significant others, and the appropriate health care providers.
- Administer medications in a safe, accurate, and timely manner
- Collect and analyze data regarding the patient’s physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and anticipated discharge planning needs.
- Develop a comprehensive outline of care and specific goals and interventions to be included in treatment planning. Prepare interdisciplinary treatment plans for assigned patients and monitor patient’s progress toward meeting treatment plan objectives.
- Monitor patients following nursing unit policies and procedures.

Qualifications
What Does LBHH Require for this Role?
- A valid State of Pennsylvania Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required. Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required. CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation if needed.
