Cambium is seeking an Office Manager to join our growing team in Mojave, CA. The successful candidate will have a strategic business mind, a strong desire to help grow a company, and will help us build a work culture of open-mindedness that embraces creativity and contrarian thinking. THE ROLE
The Office Manager will oversee the general administrative functions of the office, ensuring efficient operations and a productive work environment. This position requires a highly organized, flexible, and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
OBJECTIVES
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline office operations and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency and productivity.
- Cost Management: Manage office expenses effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to the budget.
- Employee Satisfaction: Create and maintain a pleasant work environment that boosts employee morale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Office Administration: Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures. Responsible maintaining office equipment and general supplies for the team.
- Facility Management: Ensure that the office environment is clean, organized, and safe.
- HR Support: Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
- Event Coordination: Organize meetings, conferences, and other events. Ensure all aspects are managed from logistics to equipment and catering.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- US citizenship
- Excellent ability to recognize potential areas that need improvement and taking action
- Self-starter in creating and maintaining organization processes.
- Experience working with teams and balancing multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
PREFERRED
- Experience in operations management, business administration, a related field, or an equivalent amount of professional experience managing the business operations of a company
- Interest in growing this position into a full time role as the company evolves
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
