Unique Opportunity for a Part Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Care Team at Direct Primary Care Associates at our Dalton, GA location. We fully expect this to transition into a full time position within a year. Primary responsibility is to provide high quality patient care and to promote excellence in customer service. Experience in family medicine and primary care is required, and exposure to occupational health is a plus. Duties: - Conduct physical exams and take detailed medical histories - Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries - Prescribe medications and other treatments - Order and interpret diagnostic tests - Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals - Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits - Provide counseling on family planning and reproductive health - Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma - Perform DOT physicals as a Certified Medical Examiner Experience: - Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistants license in the state of practice - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Excellent communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team We offer competitive compensation packages including health insurance benefits, paid time off, and a great work-life balace.
