Duties:
As the Director of Recruiting, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the recruitment process and managing a team of recruiters. Your duties will include:
- Hiring staff
- Negotiate staff agreements and contracts
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Leading the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening candidates to extending offers
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions
- Utilizing various recruitment tools and platforms, such as Kronos, Salesforce, and HRIS, to streamline the hiring process
- Conducting research on industry trends and best practices to stay up-to-date with the latest recruiting techniques
- Managing relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors
- Ensuring compliance with employment labor laws and regulations
- Overseeing employee orientation programs to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Implementing succession planning initiatives to identify and develop future leaders within the organization
- Monitoring recruitment metrics and providing regular reports to senior management
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
-Knowledge of NCAA, NJCCA, NCCAA, NAIA rules & regulations
- Proven experience in a leadership role within recruiting or human resources
- In-depth knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Strong research skills to stay informed about industry trends and best practices
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems, Salesforce, Kronos, or similar tools for recruitment purposes
- Excellent relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with hiring managers, external agencies, and vendors
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
