OSPT is seeking a temporary licensed Physical Therapist (16-40 hours/2-5 days a week), at our Central Santa Rosa clinic to cover maternity leave from July-October 2024, with the option to become permanent staff (with benefits) at the conclusion of the 12 weeks.
Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy was established in 1989, it is a 100% physical therapist owned private clinic. Our therapy team specializes in orthopedic rehab in an outpatient setting.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our practice and work in a professional and caring environment. We provide a warm atmosphere where patients can enjoy their experience while optimizing their functional recovery. We have a focus on therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education for their independence. Our team members currently specialize in physical therapy for all orthopedic injuries pre- and post-surgical, fall risk, osteoporosis, and sports injuries. Our clinic is Medicare certified, and we see patients with major PPO private carriers, as well as self-pay patients.
We are looking for a physical therapist that would like the freedom to perform with a focus on patient care. The clinic is open to see patients Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00, allowing weekends off for work/life balance.
New grads are welcome to apply knowing they will have guidance and mentorship from a clinically and academically established PT and PTA team onsite full time.
Our clinic features a full gym with traditional exercise equipment and Pilates Reformer/Cadillac equipment. We have five private treatment rooms, and eight treatment tables in the gym area. Our PTs have an hour for all evaluations, and see 8-11 patients a day. Our PTs work with one PTA and share their caseload equally to provide continuity of care on a variety of orthopedic injuries and post-surgical rehab patients. Documentation is fully supported with WebPT EMR complete with integrated HEP, integrated billing, and MIPS reporting, on a company provided laptop.
At OSPT you can provide one-on-one individualized care to every patient.
Education Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a degree in Physical Therapy.
Possession of a current California PT license is required (will consider PTLA status applicants).
