Job Description
Electrical Engineer
As a member of the technical staff, the Electrical Engineer must be an accomplished, and self-motivated with the ability to maintain and support our industry-leading products and systems. The Electrical Engineer will work across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in engineering and product development.

· Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
· Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
· Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
· Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components, soliciting observations from operators.
· Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
· Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
· Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
· Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
· Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.
· Maintains product database by writing computer programs; entering data.
· Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Familiar with PLC Programming.
· Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
· Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
· Strong work ethic and great attitude needed.
· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Work Environment
Most work is performed in an office environment but may require trips to facilities or plants for observation and research.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
This position requires some travel.
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
· Competent in the use of electrical engineering software
· Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
· Ability to problem solve and troubleshoots as the need arises.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
