```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient education
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and processing dental impressions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred
- Active Dental Assistant certification or license in the state of {location}
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for record keeping and appointment scheduling
- Familiarity with medical coding for dental procedures is a plus
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from the dentist or lead assistant
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Experience with dental imaging equipment and ability to take accurate dental x-rays

Pay: $22.05 - $26.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
