WEB CONTENT EDITOR
INCATech is looking for a Web Content Editor that wants to join a dynamic team in the modernization of a Federal agency public facing website. The selected candidate will work very closely with software developers, data/system engineers, and human centered design experts to modernize the way content is organized, accessed and delivered. This is a great opportunity for someone with critical thinking skills and language proficiency to make a profound impact for the Agency and their thousands of stakeholders.
This position is REMOTE, with preference to applicants located in the Metro Washington, D.C. area.
REPSONSIBILITIES:
- Writes and edits content for public websites.
- Works with customers and team members to maintain, develop, validate, and upload content to websites.
- Works with graphic design and illustrative consultants to develop and maintain consistent site style and appearance.
- Produces a content planning timeline in coordination with customers and project teams.
- Develops detailed website maintenance instructions and FAQs.
- Provides copyediting and quality content reviews utilizing AP Style principles.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
Related Experience:
- 3 years experience as a Website Content writer/publisher/editor or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing or similar
- 2 years experience with HTML
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with and presenting to stakeholders
PREFERRED:
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
