Walkabout Paddle & Apparel is looking for friendly and outgoing individuals to join our sales team. We are looking for full and/or part-time employees to work year-round. We also have seasonal summer positions available. We are open 7 days a week from 9am - 5pm. Candidate must be able to work weekends. A minimum of one weekend day per week is required. Benefits are available for full-time positions. Weekends are required (must be able to work one weekend day). Pay is based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service
- Greeting customers as they enter the store
- Approaching customers, answering questions, assisting them through the sales process and promoting product sales
- Handle any customer issues that may arise
- Accurately and efficiently use the point of sale program for merchandise purchases and returns as well as maintain all cash at the register
- Restocking of inventory
- Merchandising
- Cleaning
Job Qualifications:
- A commitment to service and customer satisfaction
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Detail oriented, multi-tasker, and organized
- Prior retail experience is preferred, but not required
