GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: A Videographer at Smith and Loveless creates video and motion graphics to interpret and reimagine images and data in the development of compelling information to be used online thru social media, website, e-mail, and other outlets for Smith & Loveless and all affiliated companies.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Produce and edit the raw footage into engaging and appealing videos.
Portray diverse storytelling by formulating unique concepts that adhere to brand guidelines; however, still push creative boundaries and excite our partners.
Add motion graphics, visual effects, and other post-production elements to elevate the quality of the videos.
From concept to execution with quick turnaround, including, but not limited to - brainstorming concepts, scripts, draft storyboards, allocating elements, animating, mixing VO/music, editing, and photo retouching.
Collaborate with colleagues in Marketing Communications, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales Divisions supporting projects that drive team initiatives and larger organizational goals.
Ability to understand and contribute to creative strategy.
Work with others to hit critical deadlines and initiative, contributing to studio culture, and inspiring others.
Reports on the progress of work, identifying successes and obstacles to the team.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Degree or certification in Art, Marketing, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1-5 years of professional experience in motion graphics and video production, preferable in business-to-business environment. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite – Adobe Premier and After Effects with demonstrated proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other equivalent. Experienced with digital cameras, video cameras, lighting, microphones, and audio and sound mixing.
SKILLS & ABILITIES: Advanced writing, editing, and video production skills, attention to detail, ability to learn new software and multitasking. Ability to set up and tear down video shoots.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Climb up and down ladders to take a video of equipment. Occasional lifting of boxes up to 50 lbs.
EQUIPMENT: PC, phone, camera, lighting equipment, fax, copier, and other normal office equipment as needed.
OTHER: Occasional travel to job sites and video shoots. Occasional overtime, as necessary.
