The Housekeeping Manager leads in the the recruitment, training, coaching, scheduling, and leadership of the housekeeping team; also leads in general supervision and recurring training of housekeeping staff. May assist with cleaning properties in a side-by-side training role alongside housekeepers. The Housekeeping Manager will communicate expectations and develop a team of proficient and reliable housekeeping professionals. The Housekeeping Manager is ultimately responsible for the cleanliness and overall presentation of Vacay properties.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, onboard train and coach new housekeeping employees
- Hands-on training with housekeepers; the Manager will often work alongside employees in training, personally completing some of the required cleaning duties by him/herself
- Source replacement products for properties; billing
- Manage and coordinate housekeeping schedules
Skills, Abilities and Requirements
- Computer skills: proficiency in typing, spelling, email, basic spreadsheets, and ability to use multiple computer applications with ease
- Ability to train, supervise, and encourage a team of employees
- 2+ years management experience required; 3+ years preferred
- 2+ years housekeeping experience required; 3+ years preferred
- Breezeway software experience preferred
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid driver’s license and current insurance
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and schedule a team of employees
- Clean criminal history and drug screen
- Reliable personal cell phone; willing to utilize for job-related work apps

Pay: $42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
