**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team. The Prep Cook will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen, ensuring excellent quality and presentation. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items - Follow recipes and portion controls to meet the restaurant's standards - Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production **Experience:** - Prior experience in a food service or dietary department preferred - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills - Familiarity with menu planning and food safety regulations - Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures - Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed - Passion for the food industry and a desire to learn and grow in a kitchen environment This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen setting, enhance culinary skills, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.
