Power Systems West has a full-time position available for an Inside Sales member who responsible for sales and support of Industrial, Residential and power generation product lines, accessories, and other related products. This position will be responsible for a variety of different tasks including; administrative duties, CRM management, preparation of proposals assistance, application assistance and project management. While working on the Inside Sales team, providing excellent customer service is an extremely important and crucial task.

Responsibilities include:
- Process sales in the NDS from beginning to end, working to invoice both new and current customers.
- Managing the ordering and receiving of necessary and equipment and accessories.
- Providing necessary information to customers, whether it be spec sheets, product data, and any other required types of data.
- Work closely with the Outside Sales team to provide any needed sales support. Act as a backup when needed for calls.
- Create and maintain project files, both hard and electronic.
- Complete credit requests and shipping notifications.
- Complete periodic reviews of open document reports and Accounts Receivable aging reports.
- Process orders and quotations via phone or email – depending on what the preferred method is from different types of customers.
- Assist in any proposals, forecasting, and other assigned reporting.
- Contact current and potential new clients to obtain any missing information or answer any inquiries that may be asked.
- Confirm data accuracy in orders in invoices.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records as changes may be needed in the CRM.
- Work as a liaison with the logistics department to ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and solve any issues with changes in time of delivery on orders.
- Communicate important feedback from customers, both internally and externally.
- Ensure that all target sales are met and report any possible deviations.
- Check public bid sites for opportunities and download needed specs or plans.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Required experience and skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Kohler online websites and portals, and general internet browsers.
- Expert level time management and organization skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the highest level of professionalism.
- At a minimum, a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) but ideally either an Associates or bachelor’s degree; and one to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
- Handle multiple tasks to successful and on-time completion.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 annually.
In addition this position receives commission pay and a quarterly sales bonus.
Opportunity for a discretionary year end bonus.
401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)
