This is a remote HR / Back-office position for people who have:
1. Critical thinking skills
2. Problem Solvers
3. Meticulously organized and pay attention to detail
4. Have the ability to speak to various types of people
5. Technology, computer and software savvy
6. Strong project management skills with a focus on process improvement
7. Experience in operations management and leading diverse teams
8. Are able to put extra hours when needed
You will be responsible for many different HR and Back-office tasks including:
1. Communicating with driver candidates
2. Onboarding drivers (this will include hand-holding a candidate through a process)
3. Dealing with Paycom for onboarding, time off, and other pay related tasks
3. Working with Fleet (keeping track of vehicles, sending them for repair, negotiating prices, reserving and returning, rental car maintenance tracking, fuel cards, etc.)
4. Working with Amazon Training Staff
5. Accident claims
6. Audits
7. Workers Comp and Unemployment cases
Who we are:
We are a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) for Amazon in Queens NY. We deliver Amazon packages to customers. We follow Amazon rules, regulations, and procedure. We employ over 120 delivery drivers and have a fleet of over 60 vans. Our station is in Astoria Queens.
Pay
$23 per hour
