We are currently looking to add an experienced HR Generalist to our team in Bend, Oregon!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with conducting investigations in coordination with the HR Manager and other key stakeholders, as well as preparing investigation summaries.
- Be an onsite resource for employees, supervisors, and managers to facilitate positive employee relations.
- Assist with job evaluations and salary administration.
- Generates, analyzes, and interprets data from the HRIS to support operations.
- Assist with various administrative functions of benefit programs and other paperwork for employees including managing leaves of absence, workers compensation and DOT compliance.
- Compile, coordinate and submit employee and benefit data as required.
- Coordinate the distribution of materials for benefits, trainings, surveys, and other communications.
- Assist in preparing and presenting of benefit changes, updates and training to employees.
- Assist with the acquisition process with participation in onboarding and integration of a variety of HR duties.
- Provide support to the HR Manager and department in various tasks, duties, and special projects.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment laws.
- Travel may be required around the NW including overnight stays.
- Other duties assigned as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience in HR.
- Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field. Associate degree may be considered with documentation of significant work experience in the HR field.
- Proficient computer and math skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting fair, thorough, and objective employee investigations.
- Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and under time constraints.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Requirements:
- HR accreditation such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or PHR or SPHR.
- Experience working in a construction or CDL trucking related industry.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
- Experience working with UKG.
