Frisco Urgent Care is seeking an IMMEDIATE HIRE for an experienced, outgoing, and reliable Medical Front Desk Receptionist for our growing clinic in Frisco to become a part of our team.
As a Medical Front Desk Receptionist you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.This position requires a positive multi-tasking team player who is reliable and able to learn quickly. Must be a motivated, hard working and able to handle patient stress with a smile and great customer service care.
You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in.
- Efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
- Conduct insurance verifications and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Schedule appointments and procedures with precision, optimizing the physician's schedule for maximum efficiency.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and accuracy.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front desk role within a physician's office.
- Strong working knowledge of insurance coverages and billing processes.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; proficiency with E-Clinical Works preferred.
- Experience with basic desktop software including Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Insurance verification experience a must.
- Fluent in English/ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, with rotating First Saturday of the month 9:00am -4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
