Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. You will collaborate closely with our sales, production, and logistics teams to coordinate orders, address customer inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, knowledge of parts and material requirements and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to prioritize and fulfill customer orders.
- Proactively communicate order status updates and any potential delays to customers.
- Address customer concerns or complaints effectively, striving to achieve timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products.
- Provide product information, technical support, and guidance to customers as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer experience and streamline processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or related field in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
