Our team of two is searching for a dedicated and highly-organized individual to join us. We require someone with excellent multitasking skills willing to lend a hand where needed and enjoys working collaboratively. Our nonprofit organization has an informal office setting that involves light lifting and communication via phone and email. The job will commence with training immediately, with up to four days per week, and eventually transition to five days a week, with flexible starting times and regular hours. This is a full-time position from September to April, but summer hours may be flexible with fewer hours and workdays required. We need a well-organized, hard-working individual to join our team of two. We are looking for someone great at multitasking, who is ready to help where needed, who is friendly, and who works well with others. We are a small nonprofit organization with a casual office environment with light lifting and phone and email correspondence required. Training will start ASAP with up to four days a week and move into five days a week for 7-8 hours daily. Some degree of flexibility in starting times and regular hours. This job will require full-time hours Sept through April. The summers can have flexibility with fewer hours and working days needed.

Responsibilities: Perform essential duties such as sorting, copying, filling membership requests, scanning, folding, membership mail assembly, etc.
Enjoys talking with customers and can communicate through verbal and written channels.
Assisting with projects and other duties as assigned.
Provide information and reception services to all callers and visitors. Keep the office running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Maintain supplies, distribute appropriate literature to promote the association & provided backup to the BOD Committees as needed.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
Able to make quick decisions.
Must also have appropriate demeanor, aptitude, and interpersonal skills to maintain effective work relations with those encountered during employment.
Professional and mature attitude; ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Fluent in Google programs
INDEPENDENT DECISIONS REGULARLY REQUIRED OF THIS POSITION: Must be able to use initiative and judgment to make quick decisions regarding member/nonmember issues and callers. Must be able to determine the appropriate contact for all callers quickly.
Requires high verbal and organizational communication skills to maintain community and Chamber information materials.
