Family Support Center is the premier therapy clinic for children with Autism in Southern Colorado. At Family Support Center, we embrace an interdisciplinary approach to care in order to achieve the highest level of support and outcomes for success. Family support center is currently interviewing for a fun, collaborative, and dedicated occupational therapist to join our interdisciplinary team! Our team of SLPs, OTs, and BCBAs places priority on naturalistic and child-led sessions.
FSC highlights a team approach in order to build the most comprehensive plan of care for each client, support carryover across all therapies, and work towards achieving the highest outcomes. All locations serve children and adolescents ages 2-18 with a large population focusing on early intervention and school aged children. Our centers have a unique Early Explorers program that is designed specifically for school readiness, functioning just like a preschool/kindergarten program on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities
Ability to collaborate with different disciplines
Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions for children 2-18 years old ranging from nonverbal to verbal
Evaluate a variety of clients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Excellent communication skills, team building personality
Provide ongoing in-services/education with staff and parents
Attend collaborative supervisor/discipline specific meetings
Complete accurate and timely documentation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to pass a background check: upon offer of employment applicant will be required to undergo a Federal and State Criminal background check per Code of Colorado Regulations 12 CCR 2509-8.
Graduate of nationally accredited occupational therapy program
National board certification from NBCOT
Unrestricted current Colorado OT License or eligible to obtain
Eligible for paneling with several private, commercial and other thrid-party insurances (TriCare, Anthem, United, etc) as an OT.
Agreeable to change and how to effectively/compassionately implement change.
Preferred: 2 years pediatric experience/autism, CPR Certification

This is a per unit delivered position. Rate of pay per service provided ranges from $25-$40 per hour.
