Inventory / Quality Control
The primary function of this position is to ensure the timely management of Inventory, assist the Quality Control Group and assist Shipping & Receiving.
Reports to: The Supply Chain Manager
Inventory Management Functions:
- Receipt of incoming parts shipments
- Verification of part number(s), quantity and received in good order
- Receipt of all stock items into ERP system
- Physical placement of all stock items into inventory room
- Reconciliation of discrepancies
- Customer W/O Fulfillment
- W/O fulfillment of kits and piece parts
- Entry of adjustments into ERP System
- Parts Kitting and appropriate entry into ERP System
- Coordination with Purchasing Group to solve parts ordering / receiving issues
- Coordination with Shop Floor to solve parts related issues
- Inventory Cycle Counts
Quality Control:
- Assist QC Group
- Incoming Part Inspection
- Management of non-conforming parts
Assist Shipping / Receiving Functions:
- Incoming Shipment
- Customer Repair Orders
- Miscellaneous Incoming Shipments
- Outgoing Shipment
- Customer Repair Orders
- Outgoing Repair Orders
- Miscellaneous Outgoing Shipments
Purchasing Functions:
- Management and ordering of all Shop Supplies
- Core Skills Required
- Attention to detail
Proficient communication – both written and verbal
Team player
Requirements:
Associates Degree / Inventory Management Experience
Experience with ERP / MRP Systems
